The Boathouse on the Island

February 2020 and a visit to Llandwyn Island on Anglesey in North Wales, UK. We'd spent a long time driving to this spot from our home in Cornwall. We'd come here to photograph the famous lighthouse, but I preferred this view. In the background across the Menai Strait the outline of Snowdonia can be seen. It was a windy weekend, with Storm Ciara landing on the mainland less than 36 hours later.
