September Sunset

This is one of my favourite images of 2019. The summer was almost over and the beaches became quiet again as the huge numbers of visitors who come to stay in our county for their holidays had mostly returned to their homes. On a Sunday evening we headed up the coast to Holywell Bay for what turned out to be a glorious sunset, followed by a spectacular blue hour. This shot was made by the two figures strolling across the middle ground in silhouette.
